I can't believe that our little John is 4! He had a really fun birthday this year! I think he was most excited about having a "party" at school with all his friends.
We were in Oklahoma for his actual birthday. That morning John and Nanny made cupcakes for his party. He was SO excited! It was so fun to celebrate with Nanny, PopPop, Uncle Larry, Uncle Brett, Aunt Kate and Gus!
We love John so much and our family is very blessed to have him in our family!

Tasty Tuesday
Here's a yummy recipe that my mom found on Facebook. My kids tend to be on the picky side of eating and when I made this I texted my mom, "Winner winner chicken dinner!" My kiddos loved it! And it is so easy! This is the website: www.thecountrycook.net.
Cheesy Chicken Tater Tot Casserole
1 (32 oz.) bag frozen tater tots
1 (3 oz.) bag bacon pieces (We use the Oscar Meyer found in the salad dressing aisle.)
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (We use colby jack.)
3/4 cup milk
salt and pepper to taste
Spray crock pot with nonstick cooking spray.
Layer half of the frozen tater tots on the bottom of crock pot.
Sprinkle with 1/3 of the bacon pieces.
Now top with 1/3 of the shredded cheese.
Add diced chicken on top. Season with salt and pepper.
Now add 1/3 of the bacon pieces and another 1/3 of shredded cheese.
Put the rest of the frozen tater tots on top.
Finish with the remaining 1/3 cheddar cheese and remaining 1/3 bacon pieces.
Pour 3/4 cup milk all over the top.
Cover and cook on low 4-6 hours.
Yummy!!
